Mr. Pleshakov has been a practicing advocate and Managing Partner of the Advocate Bureau "Pleshakov, Ushkalov and Partners" since 2003. 

In 1996-2003 Mr. Pleshakov was a practicing advocate and headed the legal consultancy No. 4 of Moscow Bar Association, transformed into Advocate Bureau under the Federal Law On Advocacy and Bar in the Russian Federation.

In 1992 – 1995 Head of CJSC Borei, the law firm.

In 1965 – 1992 work in the civil aviation system of the USSR and occupied various executive positions.

Since 1996 Mr. Pleshakov has been teaching civil law at the Law faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He graduated from Law faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University with honors in 1991; his discipline was legal science and specialization was civil law.

In 1988 he finished further training courses for Aeroflot representatives in ICAO.

In 1972 he graduated from Moscow Communication Institute, his specialty was radio engineering

Mr. Pleshakov specializes in arbitration and civil proceedings, legal support of business. 

Mr. Pleshakov speaks English. 

Mr. Pleshakov participated in such important projects as:

• Privatization of property complex of All-Soviet Union Joint-Stock Company Inturist (Goskominturist of the USSR) (1992-1993);

• Privatization of property complex of Inturservis (1993-1994);

• Judicial arbitration proceedings with Moscow Government concerning protection of Finnish investors’ rights to the land site (1 hectare) in the center of Moscow (1997-2004);

• Dispute with Dresdner Bank (Germany) concerning collection of funds (1999);

• Dispute with CJSC Dresdner Bank (Moscow) concerning rights to a land site in Moscow (2002); 

• Dispute with Design Institute No. 2 concerning invalidity of privatization (2004); 

• Dispute with Procter & Gamble about rights to trademark (2004); 

• Disputes of LLC Kombinova Teplotekhnika about collection of liability under construction contracts (over 30 court cases: 2005-2010);

• Disputes with Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Moscow, Moscow region and subjects of the Russian Federation concerning annulment of tax bodies’ decisions (over 20 cases: 1998-2009);

• Disputes with the Federal Customs Service concerning collection of guarantee payments from ASMAP in relation to payment of customs duties and taxes and concerning annulment of FCS’s decisions about undisputable collection (over 270 court cases: 2006-2010); 

• Dispute with Lyay AG Bau concerning collection of liability under construction contract in Kaluga (2010); 

• Support of transactions aimed at sale of OJSC Stroitransgaz shares (2005-2006).
